1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Seoul City Tour Co., Ltd. ("Company") and users ("User") in connection with the use of tour booking and travel services provided through this website. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

• "Service" means all tour, booking, reservation, and related travel services provided by the Company through its website.
• "User" means any individual or entity accessing or using the Service.
• "Booking" means a confirmed reservation made by a User for a tour offered by the Company.
• "Tour Date" means the scheduled date on which the tour is set to depart.

3. Use of Services

Users may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The Company reserves the right to restrict or terminate access for any User who violates applicable laws or these Terms. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the Service complies with all laws and regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.

4. Reservations and Payment

• All reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon successful completion of payment.
• Prices, schedules, and availability are subject to change without prior notice.
• Payment must be completed using the methods specified on the website. The Company uses Payro Co., Ltd. as its payment processing provider for foreign card settlements.
• The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking at its discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

The following cancellation and refund terms apply to all bookings made through Seoul City Tour:

• Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Tour Cancellation by Operator

The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify any tour at its sole discretion due to, but not limited to, the following circumstances:

• Severe weather conditions or natural disasters affecting safety
• Military or government restrictions applicable to tour destinations (including DMZ-related access controls)
• Minimum participant count not met or other operational reasons
• Any other circumstances deemed appropriate by the Company

In the event of an operator-initiated cancellation, a full refund will be issued. The Company shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the User as a result of such cancellation (e.g., transportation or accommodation expenses).

7. Participant Responsibilities

• Users are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting point on time. The Company is not liable for missed departures due to late arrival.
• Users must follow all instructions given by tour guides and Company representatives during the tour.
• Users must comply with all local laws and regulations, including restricted zone rules applicable to DMZ tours.
• Users participate in tours at their own risk. The Company recommends that all participants obtain appropriate travel insurance prior to the tour.
• There is no minimum age requirement for participation; however, minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who assumes full responsibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• Force majeure events (natural disasters, war, pandemics, etc.)
• Acts or omissions of third-party service providers
• User negligence or failure to follow tour instructions
• Military or government decisions affecting access to tour destinations
• Loss or damage to personal belongings during the tour

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, videos, and software — is the property of Seoul City Tour Co., Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent from the Company.

10. Privacy Policy

The collection and use of personal information in connection with the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

11. Marketing Communications

The Company may send promotional emails or newsletters only to Users who have provided explicit prior consent. Users may withdraw their marketing consent at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly. Withdrawal of consent does not affect reservation confirmation or operational communications.

12. Suspension and Termination

The Company may suspend or terminate a User's access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if the User is found to have violated these Terms or applicable laws. In cases of termination due to User misconduct, no refund will be provided for unused portions of any booking.

13. Changes to Terms

The Company may revise these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with the revised effective date. Significant changes will be announced with at least 7 days' advance notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.
